The Law of Attraction and Opportunity

Like muscles in our body, the more you use the law of attraction the stronger it becomes. When you give over to its power in absolute unquestioning belief you will be amazed at the things that you can achieve, and attract into your life.

A recent example I have is when I drove my family to a popular festival on the Gold Coast one Sunday. As the festival had become more and more popular each year, the common perception would be for one to expect to have to park miles from the event and walk, especially at the time and day we were to arrive there. On the drive there I began using the law of attraction, I pictured a car space saved just for me right next to the first sculpture of the festival. Whilst I pictured this space I enabled myself to become overtaken with a sense of absolute knowing and belief that that space would be there for me.

On arriving to that very same spot at the beginning of the busy festival that I had pictured in my mind’s eye, was not one spare car space, but approximately 20! Whilst getting my kids out of the car a woman said to me “you’re going to get booked there, the parking officers are coming”. “I think I’ll take my chances thanks” I replied.

As we reached the first sculpture in the exhibition two parking officers passed by and confirmed that I was legally parked and would not be booked. I was amazed that the power of the law of attraction had not only manifested me one space, but instead about 20.

Now you may say something like, “that happened just because nobody else knew that they could park there, because no-one else had set a precedent by parking in that area first”. And on this occasion it is very plausible that you may be right, but let me just submit this thought to you. How many opportunities are you missing out on in life by not expecting the best outcome or by allowing other’s limiting beliefs to determine your own actions?
