2012 predictions have been triggered by the he ancient Mayan calender ending on December 2012. The truth though could be stranger than fiction.
The Mayan’s calender consisted of 2 distinct ways of measuring a year with the first being their sacred 260 day year, and the second similar to our own was the 365 day vague year. The vague year however consisted of 18 months of 20 days plus 1 more month of 5 days.
Thousands of years ago the Mayans built some of the greatest cities on earth. They were also masters of astronomy and mathematics and reportedly knew of stars and planets that we have only recently discovered.
Common 2012 predictions are that the World will be destroyed by a Solar Flare or a Meteor collision, but I believe they have missed the true message entirely.
We are on the verge of a great change in the understanding of who we truly are and our place in this universe.
We are beginning to remember who we truly are and where we come from, and the more we begin to understand the less we will be concerned about other peoples predictions of impending disaster.
We have all heard of and seen evidence of amazing triumphs through adversity, and we as humans are a tough bunch and are only now discovering that there is much more to us than meets the eye.
Instead of living the next year in worry, why not make the most of your life and begin to truly live from the heart. I am looking forward to see what will unfold over the coming year, and feel truly blessed to be a part of the Earth’s ascension of consciousness.
