How Are You Really Feeling?

What exactly does this mean?

Every day of our life we are exposed to many different emotions, expectations, people and situations. Growing up as a child, we are part of the life our parents have made for themselves and their family.

We eat their diet, follow their sports, socialise with their friends. We take on their beliefs about the world, politics, what’s good or bad and how to handle different emotions. Even though we might tell ourselves i’ll never grow up becoming like my parents’, we find ourselves becoming just like them when we get older.

So what is happening to us?

The ‘forming’ of a child, happens to a big part inside the subconscious mind. Everything negative we experience gets stored in our subconscious mind as well. It is like a library full of long forgotten documents and books. These are called ‘Limiting Beliefs’.

We then experience something that ‘triggers’ a reaction from the subconscious mind, we feel anger or fear. Most times we don’t know were they come from. Words, people, situations, smells can act as triggers, just to name a few. Naturally you get defensive straight away.

But also we focus on the traits we don’t want to take on from our parents. Understanding the LOA, what happens when we focus on what we don’t want? It becomes true, yes! So instead of focusing on the what you don’t want, see yourself how you want to be as a person and don’t compare yourself to things you don’t want!

The other deep sitting Limiting Beliefs, are beliefs about how other people have seen us. If a person close to you like a parent or teacher called you dumb, chubby, ugly or something else along these lines, you most probably believe it to be true.

So if you are feeling fat and chubby inside, but say a positive affirmation like ‘I am slim and healthy’, what feeling do you think are you giving out into the universe? You guess it, you send ‘I am fat’ into the universe… again, what are you getting more of?

Find out what your limiting believes are and release them! They might as well be the exact reasons why you feel ‘stuck’!
